Genealogy Background
I have been working on my own family history for almost 40 years. I have been indexing for several months now and love it!
Brief Description of Workshop
What is all this buzz about Family Indexing? It is done on the computer so it cannot be all that easy! I already have so much to do, how could I possibly do this too? I just do not have time, for anything else. We have all been there, but in a short time, you can find out what this buzz is all about. You can learn that it is easy, and it does not take all that much time. If you have not looked into Family Indexing, why dont you stop in for a short 45 - 50 minute presentation and find out if this is something you CAN do? No obligation, no money involved, just a few minutes of your time, and a little more knowledge of how new technology is being used by our church to help you have indexed, digital records for free.
Experience with Topic of Presentation
What keeps me going is my testimony of service. Everyday I try to look for a way to serve someone. Some days it is in my home, others it is in my neighborhood, and some days it is serving those on the other side. I find genealogy and service very rewarding and fulfilling. Family Search Indexing is a great way to give service by providing help to those researching their ancestors. I hope in some small way I can share my love of this part of the gospel with you.
